CG goes Student: CG - CLUB of GENTS supports young talents

In today's market environment, creativity and innovation may be more relevant than ever before. Young talents often provide important impulses when it comes to this. In order to specifically promote these talents and to support young people in the fashion industry, we have launched the CG goes Student campaign in cooperation with the Hof/Münchberg University of Applied Sciences.

Co-Design Project

CG goes Student is a co-design project in which we give textile design students the opportunity to gain their first experience in a real working environment. The main focus here is on industrial processes with their limitations and possibilities.

The task of the students is to develop print designs for the new Savile Row by CG - CLUB of GENTS collection. A jury consisting of members of the Münchberg University of Applied Sciences and CG - CLUB of GENTS will select the winning design from all the entries. We will then use this design in the Spring/Summer 2020 collection of our premium capsule Savile Row by CG - CLUB of GENTS.

The winner will join us on the summer edition of Panorama Berlin, where his or her design will be presented to the retailers for the first time.

Supporting young talent

CG goes Student is a win-win situation in itself. On the one hand, we actively promote young talent and offer students a platform to actively gain work experience. On the other hand, we get new, creative impulses for our collections.

The campaign kicked off in October 2018 at our company headquarters in Hersbruck, where students were given a glimpse behind the scenes. In November there will be a second meeting at the university to discuss the first projects. At the end of January 2019 we will select the winners and integrate the winning design into our collections.
